HAZARD MITIGATION PLANNING CONSULTING
It is imperative that counties and municipalities have a working Haz Mit plan in place in order to incorporate pre and post disaster principals into the recovery process, thereby maximizing post-disaster FEMA PA Grant benefits. The TGW Team identifies pre-disaster hazards, risks and vulnerabilities that can cause systemic and major disruptions for post-disaster recovery. Our team is well versed in the requirements for researching, writing and implementing these plans according to federal guidelines. It should be noted that a solid Haz Mit plan opens the doors for additional funding from other federal programs.
PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TRAINING
TGW Consulting delivers training to county and municipal stakeholders interested in streamlining disaster recovery efforts prior to a federally declared disaster. The TGW Team uses it's publication, "Disaster Recovery Public Assistance Program: An Applicant's Primer" to provide direction for a consistent approach to delivering the PA Program from an Applicant perspective. We take a hands-on, committed approach with our clients to ensure sustainable results which, in turn, garners the best possible amount of eligible FEMA obligated funds for each PA Grant submitted for review.

406 AND 404 HAZARD MITIGATION PROGRAM CONSULTING
The TGW Team researches and identifies important mitigation opportunities available to our clients. We break down the nuances of PA 406 Mitigation opportunities that are employed in the PA Grant process as an integral part of an Applicant’s PW. Additionally, we address the 404 Hazard Mitigation Grants Program (HMGP), which is applied for prior to a disaster, and is separate from the PA program and administered by the State. Furthermore, we explain the necessity of tying our client's Hazard Mitigation Plan to HMGP 404 to garner the most favorable outcome for a submitted application.
